Drapes can be achieved in 3 different forms.
1. Drapes on a Dress form.
2. Flat drapes using Slash and Spread Techniques.
3. Bias cut Drapes.

This illustration is for intermediate and advanced fashion designers. You should be able to draft, Cut and Sew with little or no supervision. This type of drapes can be done on the upper bodice… it is used to beautify a garment.
The bias cut drapes can be overlapped or slanted as preferred. It is cut on bias so that the strips can lay flat on where ever it is placed on the Garment. Strips should not be wider than 3” on fold.
