African Fashion Industry in Nigeria is getting bigger and more bigger in Nigeria – How African Fashion Can Be Nigeria Next Crude Oil

but Because Nigerian Government is not focused to use it to maximize a lot of revenue more than Crude Oil is making the industry seems like nothing is happening. Fashion Industry in Nigeria will soon be bigger than any other sector in the country, if and only if Nigerian Government will gives them all the support they require. How African Fashion Can Be Nigeria Next Crude Oil

Nigerian Fashion Industry which is dominated by Nigerian women can generate more revenue than Crude Oil and Reduced Unemployment in the Country by 20% plus or more. A lot of Nigeria Ladies, Women are into Fashion World and they are doing great. And I strong believe is the fastest growing enterprise in the country and would be more faster with Government Support.

Some many women in Nigeria are not working, must especially into the North but I will shock you by telling you that Northern Fashion Designers are one of the most Creative Directors In Nigeria but most of them are in Abuja FCT. They have the most decent, matured, Stylish, responsible looking designs.

For Instance: The most popular Peplum Dress and Long Gown for Women, Only a Northern Professional Designers can give you best designs. Check Out: Arewa Hausa Ankara Styles and See what they can do.

Young Fashion Designers and Fashion Tutors

Young Fashion Designers such as Precious Apparel, @prudential_styling, @seleo_classic, @wearablesng, @seamples, @delicious_sew, PRV Fashion Academy, etc has trained not less them 300,000 women/men in women Fashion. This is just few (1%) of them with the little support they have.

African Fashion Ready to Wear popular Clothing Brands

And the way some of them (still 1%) such as @neyekafashion, @precious_scissors, @bubu.blaq, @fredacameo_stylehouse, @ritafamous, @seamples, @thestylezone.clothing @delightful_ankara_accessories, @commy_couture, @marianalee__ etc are selling Read to Wear worldwide is something Nigerian Government needs to invest in.

What Nigeria Government Needs to do to Support African Fashion Industry.

  1. Creating a Support Grant Program for Them (Not less than $6000 For Each Participant).
  2. Making Sure that All sewing equipment Imported in the country will get less shipping costs.
  3. Introducing Fashion Designing as a Department in the University.
  4. Recognizing and Rewarding/Award Program for them.
  5. Creating a Strong Fashion Show for Fashion Designers and African Model.
  6. Making Fashion Academy Certification to have high Value.
  7. Providing Electricity. etc

I believe with all this Supports, These Young entrepreneurs will shock the Nigerian Economy because;

  • They will train more women reducing Unemployment.
  • Generate Huge Revenue from Exporting African Fashion to The world (which is already popular in the world). etc

Note – This information and Study is based on Experience gathered during my 5 years in Fashion Blogging. Ankaragrid Community has over 4 Million members/followers on Social Media space with over Support of Thousands of Women Fashion Designers in Africa.
